Dawn Chorus, Monasterevin

One of the outdoor walk events this month is a dawn chorus to Monasterevin. Monasterevin is stacked with bridges. Thanks to the River Barrow and the Grand Canal, the town boasts at least 16 bridges, each with its own slice of history.

This backdrop acts as the perfect location for a dawn chorus. In 2024 at this very same location we observed 26 species, so plenty to see and hear.
