Outing to Bull Island

The Birdwatch Ireland Kildare Branch outing for February 2024 is to a tried and tested location, namely the North Bull Island, Dublin.
This location always delivers an outstanding experience, where thousands of birds from ducks, geese, waders, grebes, herons and egrets are in full view.
The high tide on Saturday the 10th Feb. ’24 is at 11:44h, so with a starting time of 10:15h it should give us at least a chance to see the birds hopefully close in, feeding on a rising tide for a little while.
Please take care to wear clothing and foot-ware appropriate for the weather conditions on the day.
