Birds of Hungary

Once again we are in Maynooth for the Scheduled monthly talk where the “Birds of Hungary” will be presented by Lorraine Benson, aided by Phil Dix and Robin Pollard.
In May 2023, a bird outing was organised by Phil Dix to Hungary, a country with which he is very familiar, and an enthusiastic group of Kildare bird lovers went under Phil’s expert guidance, to be treated to a feast of sightings which one could only dream of in Ireland. This presentation will give the attendees a flavour of the exciting atmosphere during that bird trip, with lots of wonderful photographs
Birdwatch Ireland Kildare Branch is very grateful to Maynooth NUIM for allowing us to hold this event in their comfortable and hospitable facilities.
The meeting point is opposite the Aldi supermarket in Maynooth.
